Life on Favor Tree Farms

Autumn Leaves and Fruit Trees

Welcome to autumn on Favor Tree Farms.

The autumn season is one of the most beautiful times of the year. The leaves are turning brilliant reds, deep burgundy, golden yellows, and stunning shades of orange.

Here at Favor Tree Farms is no different. The landscape of our farm shows the changing seasons even with our fruit trees as they prepare for their winter nap. Only a couple of our fig trees still bear fruit.

Our holly trees are in full bloom.

We hear the crunch of the fallen brown leaves under our feet where the grass once was.

The leaves are now a beautiful brown blanket that covers most of the ground. We do not rake the leaves; it turns out they are good for the soil. We let nature take her course. After all, the leaves dry out and return to the earth. This fall we gathered apples, pears, and figs from our fruit trees.
